POSITION PURPOSE The role of Field Engineer is critical as the entry-level liaison between office and field operations to provide communication and support such as technical expertise, material management, and execution of design in accordance with the production budget and customer expectations. DUTIES, TASKS, AND RESPONSIBILITIES Strategic Support (30%) Independently coordinate all mechanical and structural systems needed for each project to ensure proper scheduling between all vendors Autonomously review, analyze, and resolve field construction issues, discrepancies, or interferences with A/E, owner and/or contractor Confidently participate in all BIM meetings; carefully develop adjustments in design as required utilizing appropriate software and design tools Accurately create and submit weekly project reports including oversight and management of budgets Thoroughly communicate progress and project status with leadership Proactively drive for job site safety...
