Description Overview: Under the supervision of the Engineering Resource Manager and various project managers, the Vehicle Track Interaction (VTI) Engineer provides professional engineering support and assistance on projects for various customers, including FRA, AAR, member railroads, and commercial clients. The ideal candidate will perform essential engineering tasks across all phases of testing and research projects, including literature review support, experimental and simulation design, test planning, laboratory and field testing, data collection, data analysis, and communication of results and recommendations. In performing these tasks, the candidate must communicate amongst diverse project teams, project managers, and program managers.
