Product Engineer Job Summary The Product Engineer will support the development, improvement, and implementation of Hörmann garage door products and components. This role will work closely with Engineering, Manufacturing, Sales, Quality, and Service to develop new products, improve existing products, reduce costs, and improve manufacturability and production processes. Strong knowledge of the garage door industry and its components is required. The ideal candidate will have experience with or a strong understanding of garage door systems, including sections, tracks, springs, rollers, hinges, brackets, drums, cables, shafts, seals, weatherstripping, and related hardware.
