The Service Controls Engineer III conceptualizes, develops and programs retrofits and upgrades of automated equipment hardware and software according to a customer and internal specification of legacy equipment. Capable of being the Controls Engineering Lead on large multi-module custom systems. In this role, you will travel 75% of the time. ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES: Lead the development of controls architecture system retrofits and optimize performance expectations. Program control systems for cam, servo, and air operated stations, along with test and electrical devices. Ensure the electrical design is functional, robust, and cost effective. Innovate and use good judgment to incorporate ATS Life Sciences Chicago standards and regulatory requirements. Research and specify appropriate purchased and preferred components.
