Purpose This position provides mechanical and production engineering support for development and fabrication of current production products. In general, as a member of an integrated product team, you will be providing mechanical engineering support to manufacturing, investigating and solving design and manufacturing issues. Essential Job Functions Resolve daily issues that may arise in production and provide valuable technical expertise to area operators Support the Production floor to address design issues and part substitutions. Work on design and manufacturability issues including root cause analysis and corrective actions. Develop design solutions using 3D CAD. Setup part numbers, create and update BOMs and other SAP data entry. Provide direction to technicians, welders, mechanics, and inspectors. Other duties as assigned.
