Spend a summer designing and prototyping real mechanical hardware alongside the founding hardware team. What you'll do Contribute to enclosure, structure, and mechanism design for Blackstar's devices. Own a well-scoped project from design through implementation and review. Work directly with senior engineers on prototyping, testing, and design for manufacturing. What we're looking for Currently pursuing a degree in mechanical engineering or a related field. Proficiency with 3D CAD and a solid grasp of tolerancing and manufacturing basics. Available to work full-time and in person in San Francisco for at least 10 weeks. Nice to have Hands-on experience with rapid prototyping (3D printing, machining, fabrication). Personal projects, research, or coursework involving mechanical design.
