The Design Engineer I New Products is responsible for performing routine duties that require application and knowledge of basic engineering principles. Operating under close supervision, their primary function is to complete basic level engineering assignments by following prescribed procedures. Job Responsibilities Create design layouts and product configurations of complete systems and subsystems using 3D modeling (e.g. SolidWorks), CAE analysis tools, and basic engineering principles in response to functional and performance requirements. Create manufacturing routings with related tool costs for potential new parts for external customers.
