Job Description Responsibilities include: Competency with semi-conductor crystals including II-VI and III-V compounds, laser crystals, and NLO crystals including oxides and fluorides. Plan and conduct engineering tests and detailed experimental testing to verify process efficacy, prove hypotheses or characterize material quality Organize and write machine/process and qualification procedures Operate and maintain crystal growth equipment for R&D and process development purposes Assist in the design, construction, test and check-out of crystal growth and test equipment Use manufacturing test, development or diagnostic equipment Perform operational test and fault isolation on systems and equipment Education and Work Experience: Minimum Qualifications: Masters in materials science or related discipline with a minimum of 5 years of hands on experience in at least 1 method of crystal growth with emphasis on techniques for bulk congruent materials...
