RLC is seeking an Associate Civil Engineer (Structural) to join the growing civil/structural engineering team. This position will entail work on a variety of electric power projects including substations, transmission lines, wind and solar generation plants, and battery storage facilities. This individual must be self-motivated and eager to work within a multi-disciplinary team. Essential Functions of Position: Perform structural design calculations and analyses of existing and new steel structures and concrete foundations using IBC, ASCE 7, AISC, and ACI codes along with industry design guides. Learn and apply concepts and design references specific to the electric power industry. Prepare design criteria, calculations, and specifications. Work with designer/drafters to prepare plan sets.
