Key Responsibilities: • Develop and execute system- and component-level validation tests for a variety of trailer platforms. • Design and document test methods, procedures, and plans to support R&D projects. • Lead instrumentation and data acquisition setup, ensuring high data fidelity using load cells, displacement sensors, strain gauges, etc. • Design, validate, and oversee the procurement and fabrication of test fixtures and equipment. • Perform structural and mechanical analysis using hand calculations and FEA to validate test setups and design proposals. • Coordinate external testing services such as durability testing, crash testing, and third-party validation. • Identify and lead capital improvement projects aimed at increasing test capabilities and reducing lead times. • Create and maintain engineering standard work documentation for future testing and design efforts. • Support field testing, rework planning, and competitive benchmarking initiatives. • Manage...
