Work Arrangement This is an onsite position and may require up to 25% travel, within and outside the United States. Job Overview The Aeromechanical Engineer II is responsible for the design, test, build, and improvement of unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs), unmanned surface vehicles (USVs), and their support equipment based on contractual or internal requirements. Essential Functions • Use Solidworks to design and modify parts and assemblies. • Create 2D drawings of parts and assemblies complete with bill of material (BOM) for internal or external fabrication and assembly. • Perform aerodynamic analysis and calculations to inform the design and predict the behavior of aircraft. • Conduct simulations, testing, and prototyping to validate designs and ensure they meet performance and safety requirements. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including manufacturing, electrical, software, and systems engineers, to integrate mechanical systems into larger aerospace systems. •...
