Overview of the Position: Provide engineering design, build, troubleshoot, repair, and / or modify an array of specialized test systems and fixtures, and assembly and inspection tooling from schematics and/or written instructions (specific or inferred). The Mechanical Engineer has the responsibility and authority to perform assigned tasks. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Develop mechanical design and drafting skills, including basic machining knowledge as applicable. Be key focus and provide expertise on new product introduction. Develop electromechanical skills to include understanding and use of switches and sensors, application and measurement of mechanical load and position.
