D esign Engineer Tillage Equipment Tipton, KS Great Plains Manufacturing is seeking a Design Engineer to join our Tillage Equipment R&D Team in Tipton, KS to bring technical aptitude in developing agricultural equipment and to bring innovation to agriculture globally. This is an on-site position based in Tipton, KS that works Monday through Thursday from 6:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Primary Duties and Responsibilities: Design tillage equipment and related electronic components. Create detailed drawings, bill of materials, test plans, etc. Utilize analysis software, evaluate field testing and recommend design modifications to optimize product designs. Provide technical support to manufacturing, quality, and supply management to ensure product is fabricated, welded and assembled based on the intended functionality of the design.
