Description General Position Summary Performs a variety of system design work for medical devices from concept to production. This includes all the related engineering analysis to assure functionality and robustness. Essential Job Functions Engineering Activities Designs large and complex product subsystem alongside senior engineers and other product subsystems independently. Controls Engineering Changes and prepares required documentation for Agile release. Works in cross-functional team focused on mechanical, electrical and software design. Develops proof-of-principle hardware to verify concepts prior to prototyping. Prepares project timeline and task lists and hardware costing for assigned projects. Document designs through applicable dimensioning and tolerancing. Analyzes experimental results and draws relevant conclusions based on data findings.
