The Design Engineer is a highly skilled and motivated engineer that can design harsh environment connectors, cable assemblies and hull penetrators for subsea applications. The design engineer will take the design from concept modeling to production ready prints and support the manufacturing of the product. Key Responsibilities: Work with customers (internal and external) to develop and document complex products for harsh subsea environment applications that meet performance requirements at the expected product cost, project budget and timeline. Construct prototypes and confirm designs with the quality department and purchasing team. Work with Engineering colleagues on tooling and manufacturing equipment and processes. Work with manufacturing on initial build and ensure goals for reliability and compliance are achieved.
