The Product Development Engineer will lead the development of plastic injection molded parts such as fascias, spoilers, body side moldings, grilles, side appliques, license plate applique assemblies, or decorative lighting. Our Engineering team is looking for a Product Engineer . We are looking for a dynamic and driven candidate who is interested in joining a fast-growing global company in the automotive sector. The Product Engineer is responsible for the development of new or modifications of existing Sealing/GHM products for the door systems. Utilizing rubber and plastic injection mould, extrusion dies and production equipment from conception through full production implementation. Knowledge in the selection of various materials and processes in a manufacturing setting are key areas that will set apart potential candidates. Experience designing for automated assembly and low cost is a plus. Will also be required to support as the integrated engineer for GM programs at the GM tech center.
