POSITION SUMMARY The VDC Engineer is responsible for task level management. Implementation and execution of McCarthy's Virtual Design & Construction (VDC) and Building Information Modeling (BIM) Processes, tools, and best practices within their assigned projects. The VDC Engineer reports to the VDC Manager or next highest position. Job Description Specific Responsibilities: Actively supports implementation of AI solutions to enhance manufacturing efforts. Develops numerical models to simulate the manufacturing processes and create engineering tools. Design experiments to provide highly controlled multi-scale test setups to study manufacturing processes. Conduct the manufacturing design and production support in each transition of a new blade program. Participates in expansion of TPI's intellectual property portfolio. Contributes to development and implementation of engineering solutions that improve current production challenges.
