Summary The mechanical engineer reports to the Engineering Manager and is responsible for the design and substantiation of payload mounts and modification to aircraft primary and secondary structure in accordance with FAA and mission requirements. The mechanical engineer will also work with the electrical engineering team on aircraft modification design and integrations. The mechanical engineer ensures via free-body diagrams and calculations for static loading conditions that designs are substantiated and integrated properly.
