Job Summary Cirrus Aircraft is currently hiring an Aircraft Systems Engineering Supervisor focused on Propulsion Systems. A supervisor in this role is responsible for design, development, integration, and certification with engine and/or propeller manufacturers along with systems such as fire extinguishing, fire detection, engine controls, engine indications, powerplant cooling, fuel systems, induction, and exhaust on the SR platform as well as new projects. Direct reports include individual contributors. Candidates will also be responsible for coordinating and leading development and system integration work with subcontractors and external suppliers. The size of the propulsion team ranges from 5-12 engineers and/or designers of varying experience. Candidates will also be responsible for coordinating development and system integration work with subcontractors and external suppliers.
