Job Summary: The Engineering Co-Op supports the Quality department by conducting laboratory tests, assisting with product development, and contributing to quality inspection and process improvement initiatives. The role provides valuable hands-on experience in measurement, testing, documentation, and engineering support activities, with responsibilities tailored to the student's level of experience. Essential Functions: Sophomore Level Perform inspections and testing on purchased and manufactured parts and components utilizing basic measuring equipment (caliper, micrometer, tape measure, height gauge, etc.) Read and interpret engineering prints to ascertain critical measurements and tolerances. Conduct QA defect sorting operations on inventory which may be non-conforming per engineering standards.
