Primary Responsibilities: Designs, analyzes and modifies aerospace manufacturing equipment and tooling that meet stakeholder requirements. Researches, develops, evaluates and integrates robotics, automation, and new technologies and processes related to equipment and tooling for applicability to programs and products. Teams with cross-functional subject matter experts to develop and review bids and procurement specifications. Estimates, plans, manages and executes the acquisition and modification of equipment and tooling. Develops and implements testing and acceptance to validate performance. Creates and maintains related documentation for equipment and tooling, develops preventative maintenance plans and trains personnel as needed.
