Move Forward with Volt! Volt is immediately hiring a Mechanical Design Engineer in Mabank, Texas. As a Design Engineer, you will: Provide design support from concept to layout and detail drawings on specific programs. Perform engineering analyses utilizing established analytical methods. The Project Engineering group supports the Package, Refurb and Upgrades (PR&U) business, creating accurate and timely definition of the turbo machinery package and systems such as Frames, Enclosures, Package, Ancillary, and their respective components and assemblies. Be accountable for content, accuracy and timeliness, providing design of mechanical package systems including; Lube, Fuel, Start, Seal, and Turbine systems. Scope includes modeling, drafting and releasing. Daily cross-organizational integration is required, coordinating with peers in Standards, Project Management, Systems and Package Development Engineering.
