Volt is immediately hiring for an Outside Plant Engineer in Spokane, WA. As an Outside Plant Engineer you will: Design outside plant fiber optic infrastructure from end point to end point, including overhead and underground systems Develop detailed construction packages including drawings, scope of work, bill of materials, and technical documentation Engineer fiber systems in joint-use communication space and underground environments Support permitting, easements, and right-of-way coordination Provide engineering support during construction, including field inspections and design adjustments Oversee fiber optic splicing, termination, testing, and troubleshooting considerations Apply NESC (IEEE C2) standards and utility engineering best practices Utilize AutoCAD and GIS tools (ArcGIS) to develop and maintain engineering designs Update as-built records and create post-construction documentation Collaborate with project managers, contractors, and internal...
