This role supports the product design, manufacturing process validation and continuous improvement initiatives. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS : Support the mechanical engineering department using Inventor, including detailing and light to intermediate level design work, and ANSYS FEA. Identify problems with existing designs and recommend changes. Implement and document approved changes. Provide technical support for electricians and electrical technicians. Verify the operation of sterilizer control systems upon completion. Assist shop floor technicians with assembly questions in the component testing and bench testing of various systems.
