About the Job Mechanical Engineering Draftsperson: We are seeking a Mechanical Engineering Draftsperson to become a part of our team! You will be required to perform a variety of engineering tasks, as well as identify areas of improvement to increase operational efficiency. Responsibilities: Draft routine working sketches and layouts. Calculate basic engineering aspects of routine drafting problems like stress, sizing, and flexibility. Determine material and equipment selection and create estimates and specifications. Draft routine reports and correspondence. Apply basic algebra and geometry concepts. Create and revise CAD models and draw using computer hardware and software. Develop 2D drawings from 3D models or parts in AutoCad through common drafting standards.
