JOB SUMMARY: The Engineering Intern is responsible for providing support within the Engineering department. In addition, the Engineering Intern assists with design, analysis, and testing on multiple assigned projects within their related field of study. PRINCIPLE ACCOUNTABILITIES may include: • Provide support to lead Mechanical Engineers in tasks such as part and assembly design, engineering analysis and test, analytical modeling and simulation and support of final product test. • Assist Lead Engineers on projects including creation of new drawings and machine layouts, creation of recommended spares lists, documentation of completed machines. • Provide drafting support to Lead Mechanical Engineers using 2D or 3D CAD packages (Solid Edge and Pro-E - Colorado Only). • Create engineering design guides and assembly instruction sheets. • Update ISO documentation as needed. • Standardization of documentation including updating older drawings into 3D models, standardizing part...
