Job Summary The Design Engineering Intern completes projects related to new product development in support of new business initiatives. Specific tasks include creating project plans, assisting with component design, from initial part/product conceptualization to full engineering development, and creating prototypes. Project work includes day to day interaction with the Business Unit Team, including Sales, Quality, Operations, Supply Chain, R&D, and Manufacturing Engineering. The Intern will also assist with technical engineering support of current product lines through value analysis, product quality improvements, manufacturability, and performance optimization in the field. Throughout the assignment, professional mentoring and guidance will be provided by TA's leadership.
