Job Summary: The Engineering Intern is responsible for working on various projects related to product development, product design, production system design, implementation, and improvement. Major Responsibilities/Activities: Create and Maintain Critical Documents: Documents include but are not limited to; drawings and other technical documents related to project work, the laboratory quality manual, engineering action requests, testing records, training records, action orders, artifact records, calibration reports, as well as scheduling documents. Evaluate Products and Implement Changes: Under the direction of the engineering department manager or other designated supervisor, various product improvements may be investigated. Such investigations may include testing, production of evaluation reports, changing engineering documents, changes to bills of material and issuance of engineering change notices.
