This is a mentorship position designed to serve both an immediate objective of providing support to engineering staff and a long-term objective of internally developing exceptional engineering talent. This internship is based in AVCON's Orlando, Florida office. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS (may include but are not limited to) Assisting with basic drafting. Working with and supporting engineers or higher-level technicians in the development and maintenance of project documentation from design to construction. Performing a variety of routine tasks designed to provide hands-on experience with engineering methods and practices to include engineering calculations, quantities take-offs, cost estimating, CAD, and project specification review and development.
