ORGANIZATIONAL STATUS: The Engineering Co-op is appointed by, receives authority from, and reports to the Global Product Manager. RESPONSIBILITIES: The duties & responsibilities of the Engineering Co-op include, but are not necessarily limited to the following: Lead specific engineering activities and projects. Lead manufacturing initiatives and implementation. Work with manufacturing to implement operational and sourcing cost saving initiatives. Take an active role in projects and continuous improvement activities, including project management responsibilities. Develop and complete engineering models and drawings with SolidWorks. Help prepare and maintain technical documentation including drawings, BOMs, test protocols, and reports. Participate in design reviews, project meetings, and cross-functional team collaborations.
