Reporting to the Plant Engineering Manager, the Mechanical Engineer works under general direction applying expertise to generate solutions that require development or sustainment of new or improved techniques, procedures, or products. Responsibilities include managing project initiatives meeting timely, cost-effective objectives. Responsibilities Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, schematics, and computer-generated reports. Build prototypes, products, and systems for testing and production. Research, design, evaluate, install, operate, and maintain mechanical products, equipment, systems and processes to meet requirements, applying knowledge of engineering principles and computer aided design tools.
