As a Design Engineer you will: Create and revise 2D CAD drawings including floor plans, wiring diagrams, device layouts, control schematics, and riser diagrams. Translate engineer/designer markups into clean, accurate drawings. Update and organize CAD files, layers, title blocks, and drawing standards . Prepare as-built drawings from field markups and installation changes. Assist in producing project submittal packages, control diagrams, and detail sheets. The Design Engineering team at Rohde & Schwarz USA provides mechanical design support for production operations in our Coppell, TX facility. This includes creating drawing packages for system production. These packages can contain mechanical part drawings, assembly drawings, system diagrams, cable diagrams, cable lists, and various other drawing types. The Design Engineering team is responsible for creating custom mechanical parts for systems. These parts can either be created on-site by R&S technicians, printed on our in-house 3D printer, or sent to an external supplier.
