Job Description The Team This internship allows students to experience a civil- or structural-focused environment within a corporate setting. Engineering department interns are assigned to one of two options: core structural engineering with analysis focus or civil engineering. Training involves hands-on experience with structural analysis software tools and theoretical-based training with licensed professionals, civil engineers, and structural engineers. Interns work in small groups alongside Senior Engineers to address the Company's needs. In the structural internship, the Engineering Intern performs structural analyses of cell phone towers and prepares formal, written reports detailing tower capacity and listing recommendations for modifications needed to increase capacity. In the civil internship, the Engineering Intern will complete raw-land site development using Civil 3D, stormwater analyses, access road remediation and repair, minor structural calculations and letters...
