Job summary: Ownership of manufacturing processes, equipment, and methods. Develop and improve manufacturing processes with focus on standardization and optimization. Creates production line design and layouts, work instructions/VOS, fixture and tooling designs and value stream maps. Engage with 3rd party integrators on large projects. Responsibilities: Develop, analyse, and improve manufacturing processes. Evaluate equipment, define, and implement PM programs. Evaluate assembly and testing fixtures/systems and execute improvements when required. Manages process documentation, including the development of manufacturing work instructions for existing or new assemblies, etc. Works with Quality to define and implement controls and Internal Quality data collection. Manage the introduction of chemicals and compounds along with the SDS database, ensure compliance with local and agency regulations. Complete time studies for continuous improvement.
