General Description & Duties This Entry Level or Mid-Level Project Engineer position in the landing gear industry is with the ES3 Mechanical Systems/Wheels/Brakes Design and Analysis Group. The engineer will be responsible for performing a variety of mechanical engineering functions to include, but not limited to: Reliability/maintainability data analysis, risk assessments, new designs, redesigns, CAD modeling and drawing development, prototyping, Aircraft system level requirements analysis, test fixture development and airworthiness certification on a variety of military platforms. Much of the engineering effort is centered around incorporating new technology on military aircraft platforms.
