The Project Engineer provides direct support to construction project estimating and project management in the heavy highway, infrastructure, site work, and concrete construction industry on projects ranging from $250,000 - $10 million. This position directly supports the Project Managers to efficiently, successfully, and profitably complete assigned construction projects. Experienced and entry level candidates will be considered. A. Merante Contracting will assign each Project Engineer with a mentor to ensure they are learning how to carry out all job responsibilities. Project Engineer may also be assigned as a mentor to entry-level staff. An ideal candidate will learn quickly, speak up when they need direction, and will always strive to play their part in a project's success. Responsibilities Assist the Project Manager and Superintendent to maintain and update construction project details, such as: Start-up: submittals, quotes, COI's, subcontracts, PO's, field packets, etc....
