Short Description The Millwork Operation Drafting Engineer creates technical shop drawings using multiple types of CAD based software. Drafting Engineers coordinate with project teams, purchasing agent(s) and production management to create shop drawings and associated documents that meet customer requirements, specifications and Jaynes Millwork production standards. Summary/Objective Flexible, results-driven team player with strong communication skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks, produce quality work and consistently meet deadlines while following established procedures. Essential Functions Interpret architect, designer, engineer or Jaynes internal sketches and translate that vision into a technical shop drawing. Utilize and incorporate all contract documents, specifications, appropriate coordination submittals (appliance, plumbing specifications etc.) and Jaynes Millwork standards into shop drawings.
