Apex Engineers is seeking civil, structural, or architectural engineering students for our Summer 2027 Structural Internship in our Kansas City office. Our interns work on active projects from the first week. The program mirrors the first 12 weeks of a full-time new graduate's onboarding, so you finish the summer knowing what starting a career in structural engineering actually involves. You will work alongside licensed engineers across commercial, industrial, multifamily, and residential projects, from entry-level homes to high-end custom residences. The role - what you'll do Barr is seeking a civil engineering intern to join our Jefferson City team for the summer of 2027. In this hybrid role, you will support our Engineering and Design business unit, working on project teams involved with civil engineering and related technical field assignments. Project assignments may include civil design and analysis; AutoCAD/Civil 3D drafting and design; field sampling and data collection; preparation of construction plans and specifications; spreadsheet preparation; short report preparation; laboratory testing; and construction inspection and observation. A successful person in this role is motivated and emphasizes client service by providing quality deliverables.
