Overview The AD&D Engineer Principal Sr. - Future Flight Decks is a forward-thinking engineering leader responsible for driving the early-stage development of intelligent, automated aircraft systems within the Cirrus Advanced Design and Development (AD&D) team. This position will lead the technical work to explore and develop new philosophies and design concepts related to simplified vehicle operations - including new flight deck technologies, advanced display and software features, and next generation control architectures. Overview Responsible for the continued electrical systems development and design for FAA certified single engine aircraft. Perform detail design and analysis activity conducted in the area of electrical systems design and integration. Responsibilities Responsible for the design, testing, certification, and ongoing engineering support of various aspects of aircraft electrical systems such as power generation and storage, power distribution, wire harness design, etc. Lead small teams of electrical engineers on complex projects. Mentor junior electrical engineers technically.
