Responsibilities This position is for an engineer with strong AutoCAD skills and a detail-oriented approach to engineering documentation. You will serve as the Technical Data Package (TDP) lead for Machinery Control Systems (MCS), Repair Station Consoles (RSC), and Engine Controllers (EC) on the DDG-51 Modernization (MOD) and related Tech Refresh (TR) programs. This is a high-ownership role. You will independently manage configuration baselines, produce installation drawings, maintain tracking databases, coordinate across multiple engineering teams and government stakeholders, and occasionally travel to ships to verify legacy configurations firsthand.
