The Quality Assurance Technician I is responsible to test and ensure that goods meet manufacturing standards and are free of defects. Tests and inspects products at various stages of production process and compiles and evaluates statistical data to determine and maintain quality and reliability of products.
The Quality Assurance Technician is expected to:
Maintain SPC limit at or above the corporate target.
Complete in process inspections in 2 hours or less
Complete raw material in coming inspections in 25 days or less
Performs in process inspections.
Performs raw material incoming inspection and movements through ERP system.
Assists with First Piece / First Article, incoming processed material, and final inspections.
Assists in engineering capability studies.
Assists in gage repeatability and reproducibility studies.
