Job Duties Performs a variety of more difficult technical and supportive professional engineering tasks, including: Work with RCOC technical and engineering staff to support the installation and modernization of traffic signals and other electrical devices. Prepare plans, specifications, estimates, bids, and proposals, and provide expertise on signal standards, details, past signal field experience, and contract documents. Monitor contractor field activities to ensure materials and construction methods comply with contract drawings and specifications. Document project field activities using current MDOT methods. Coordinate with Permits, Traffic Safety, Highway Maintenance, Design, and Right-of-Way regarding construction, utilities, and project implementation.
