Description: Job Title: Mechanical Engineer Location: Meta Building X 10301 Willows Road N.E., Redmond Duties: • Work as part of a multi-disciplinary team to design, manufacture, and assemble prototypes of soft wearable electronic devices • Apply sound engineering and design principles for manufacturing of injection molded components, soft electronic components, and novel sensor integrations in wearable electronics • Communicate with vendors on DFM and Manufacturing of designs for prototype builds • Collaborate with researchers and engineers to rapidly prototype hardware solutions, iterate, and run experiments. Skills: Must Haves: • BS in Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent industry experience • 4+ years of experience in designing hardware prototypes, preferably in wearable consumer electronics, or a similar field • Knowledge of the design process from concept to manufacturing • Average or higher experience with CAD modeling [Siemens NX] • Physical prototyping...
