As a Manufacturing Engineer intern, you will work alongside Assembly, Accessories, and Sub- Assembly personel, supporting them and the Safariland business group in daily operations. RESPONSIBITLITIES • Work with other Manufacturing Engineers to achieve optimal level of efficiency, delivery and quality standards. • Participate in cost reduction initiative for Safariland Duty Gear manufacturing. • Participate in continuous improvement and Change Control Projects. • Support design for manufacturing initiatives. • Documentation, analysis, and assessment of project status, reviews, and testing results. • Participate in Root Cause analysis and counter measure implementation. • Time Studies for new and existing product. • Participate in changing and maintain Lean culture. • Computer-aided design and drafting using Solid Works and/or Draft...
