Job Description What you will learn and contribute to • Participate in the design and development of complex mechanical designs - product architecture, detailed specification definition for complex systems, technology (component) selection and the application of design tools/methods • Develop designs (piece parts and complex assemblies) with guidance and direction (sheet metal, plastic, extrusions and cast parts including fabrication techniques, tolerance and analyses) • Interface with supply chain and procurement with a focus on sheet metal, plastic and cast designs, cabling, and manufacturability • Responsible for planning and execution of prototype builds for R&D consumption • Provides sizing and estimates of work and review of product development schedules • Decision making to deliver on goals with supervision. • Work is carried out in an office and clean lab environment, with limited to no exposure to disagreeable elements Responsibilities Design mechanical...
