POSITION SUMMARY Thompson Engineering is seeking an entry-level Transportation Engineer to join our growing transportation design group. This role is an excellent opportunity for recent graduates or early-career professionals eager to develop skills in roadway and transportation design. The ideal candidate will demonstrate enthusiasm for learning, strong attention to detail, and a desire to contribute to meaningful infrastructure projects. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES • Assist in the design and preparation of roadway, intersection, and transportation project plans under the supervision of senior engineers. • Use OpenRoads Designer and/or AutoCAD Civil 3D to support design tasks. • Prepare project documentation, reports, and quantity estimates. • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams on transportation and civil infrastructure projects. • Participate in training and mentoring opportunities to build technical and professional skills.
