JOB SUMMARY: The PV Engineering Intern provides support in development, design and construction stage of commercial and/or utility-scale solar electric system projects. He/she will execute engineering and technical tasks to support site evaluation, conceptual design development, sensitivity analysis of design variables for optimization and review of site drawings/plans during early stage. The PV Engineering Intern will support design phase coordination, navigate the requirements from authorities having jurisdiction and incentive programs, and help ensure the design compliance with owner's technical specification through design and construction phase. Overview Position Summary The Project Engineer is responsible for providing technical engineering information to the Project Manager, Craft Supervisors, and Corporate Functional Managers to ensure design development and construction work complies with all engineering standards, codes, specifications, and design instructions applicable to one or more disciplines. This position also provides project controls support (cost, scheduling, estimating) and subcontract oversight to project construction supervision and craft personnel. Location & Travel Details You'll get the opportunity to travel across the US, helping our team build infrastructure projects. This is a traveling position, up to 100% of the time.
