GENERAL PURPOSE: Ross Stores is launching a brand-new distribution center, and we're excited to hire our first Controls Engineer to help build and support the facility. Primary responsibilities are to perform controls engineering functions in support of Capital Projects, Process Improvement and Maintenance teams with design, development, optimization, maintenance and obsolescence of automated material handling equipment and warehouse control systems in all the Distribution Centers. The Controls Engineer will configure, design and overview control systems for industrial material handling solutions. This includes development of specifications, device layout drawings, control schematics, PLC logic, SCADA systems and implementing solutions which deliver exceptional value.
