This internship is fully onsite in our San Antonio, TX based headquarters. As a member of the technical staff, the Mechanical Engineering Intern is responsible for helping develop and maintain the mechanical aspects for our standardized products (InductOne, Grippers, Perception kits, etc). This includes creating mechanical designs, specifying off-the-shelf components, defining process definitions, work instructions, creating and updating documentation, assisting pre-production builds, and system testing/debugging/troubleshooting. The Design Engineering team at Rohde & Schwarz USA provides mechanical design support for production operations in our Coppell, TX facility. This includes creating drawing packages for system production. These packages can contain mechanical part drawings, assembly drawings, system diagrams, cable diagrams, cable lists, and various other drawing types.
