This individual will be part of a project execution team dedicated to one of Dematic's strategic clients. The successful candidate will have 5+ years of experience contributing to and leading material handling system design and application on varying scale projects. Candidates must have significant experience with material handling systems and demonstrated success working taking initiative, working under pressure and maintaining composure in front of customers. This opportunity allows you to collaborate with Die Makers and see your designs become finished dies, components, and parts. The ideal candidate will have experience designing progressive dies. SUMMARY: The Design Engineer is responsible for designing stamping dies, prototype tooling and die components that meet our customers' standards. They also provide technical support for our customers, tool room, production, and sales/estimating. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Design high quality dies that meet the standards our customers expect.
